Safe Opening · Las Vegas Valley
Jewelry safe opening serves Las Vegas's estate-tier neighborhoods — Summerlin, Summerlin South, MacDonald Ranch, Seven Hills, Anthem Country Club, Lake Las Vegas, and the executive Henderson corridors. These households own AMSEC BF, Brown Safe Vault, Casoro, and Döttling-class units storing jewelry, watches, collectibles, and important documents. Our jewelry-safe work is white-glove by default: discretion, named technicians, signed NDAs on request, anonymized invoicing for sensitive estates.
Every jewelry & watch safe opening job at Armor Lock & Safe follows a methodology hierarchy — non-destructive techniques first, drilling only as a last resort with written owner authorization. About 85% of our Vegas-area safe-opening work completes without drilling.
Default on Group-2 mechanical dials.
Common on modern AMSEC BF and Brown Safe Vault tier units.
When manipulation is slow on high-end mechanical locks.
Owner-authorized only, with full repair and finish restoration.
Owner-trained on every major US safe brand and lock platform. Tell us the make and model on the phone — manufacturer schematic lookup cuts our on-site time by ~30%.
Jewelry safe jobs differ from standard safe openings in three ways: ownership verification is stricter, discretion is paramount, and the safe itself is often a custom-build with proprietary access details. We require government-issued ID plus deed/title or trust documentation showing the customer's connection to the residence. For probate or estate-transition cases, the executor's letters are mandatory. On arrival the named technician (often Vladimir himself for high-value work) operates alone with the owner or executor — no apprentices, no observers. Manipulation proceeds quietly; the technician documents nothing photographically without explicit written consent. After opening, the contents are inventoried by the owner only — we do not handle jewelry or watches. The new combination is programmed on the customer's preference, and an anonymized service receipt is issued (no inventory details on the receipt itself).
Las Vegas locksmith pricing is too often "quoted on the phone, then changed on the truck." We give a flat-rate quote in writing before any work begins. Below is our standard pricing for this service.

Factors that change the time on-site:
Things we wish every Vegas safe owner knew. Following these saves you time, money, and avoids damage to your safe.
Schedule jewelry safe opening separately from any insurance appraisal — the opening is a different event from inventory and valuation.
For estate sales, plan opening BEFORE inviting estate-sale buyers. Ownership verification gets messier once outsiders are present.
Custom-build safes (Brown Safe Vault, Casoro) may have proprietary access details — share any documentation from the original installation.
Watch winders inside larger jewelry safes can drain batteries during long lockouts; check power before assuming the safe itself is locked.
Jewelry safe opening requires verified ownership documentation. For high-value contents, we recommend customers retain an insurance appraiser on standby BEFORE we open. We do not handle, photograph, or take inventory of jewelry contents without explicit written consent. NDAs are available on request and signed at the job site before work begins. For probate estates with multiple heirs, we require either single executor authority or unanimous heir consent.

You retain custody at all times. We do not handle, photograph, or inventory jewelry contents without your written consent. Most customers prefer to inventory privately after we leave.
Yes, on request. The NDA is signed at the job site before work begins. Anonymized invoicing is default for jewelry/estate work — no contents details on the receipt.
Typically $180–$500 for standard residential jewelry safes; $220–$600 for estate/probate; $300–$800 for TL-rated commercial. Plus our $150 service call.
We can coordinate scheduling so an appraiser is on-site immediately after opening, if that suits your situation. We do not appraise contents ourselves.
Yes. Brown Safe units are custom-build with proprietary access details; share any original installation paperwork if you have it.
Almost certainly yes. Antique Mosler safes manipulate well; drilling is rare on heirloom estates. We document the opening for the family estate file on consent.
