Rekey service re-pins existing lock cylinders to a fresh key, retaining your existing hardware. Cheaper than full lock replacement, and the only practical option after rental turnover, lost keys, contested-possession transitions, or any time you want to invalidate existing keys without changing the hardware. What happens when we arrive
A rekey job starts with phone intake — how many cylinders, what brand. We dispatch from Spring Valley. On arrival the technician verifies ownership (deed, lease, HOA documents, or rental agreement). For single-home rekeys, we re-pin each cylinder to the same new key — typically 3–5 cylinders for a standard Vegas SFH (front door, back door, garage entry, sometimes patio). Each cylinder takes 10–20 minutes. Bulk rental turnovers (5+ units) get discounted per-cylinder pricing. Master-key system rekeys for multi-tenant or HOA properties require schematic planning before pinning. We provide 2–4 fresh keys at job completion; additional keys are cut at $5 each on-site.

Rekey service requires ownership or authorized-possession verification: deed, lease, property management contract, HOA management designation, or court documentation. We do not rekey for unverified callers. For contested-possession situations (divorce, eviction), we require either single-party deed/title ownership documentation or court order.
